About Us

We're a specialized rescue. Our focus is on, Neonatal Orphans, Critical Care and High Risk Euthanasia Cases. This means our main intakes are orphaned kittens and puppies. Ages 0-6 weeks old. Many of which Critical Care & Disability Cases. We have a special passion and talent with Cleft Palate cases and an incredibly supportive veterinary team.

WE have a small nursery with multiple incubators and specialized equipment, however we mainly rely on fosters to help with our intakes.

Being a Foster Based rescue, means we heavily rely on caring community members to foster our animals in need. WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTERS ESPECIALLY BETWEEN KINGSTON - OTTAWA AREA!!!!!

If you're interested in becoming a foster, we provide all the supplies as well as Neonatal Foster Support with our neonatal specialist.

We also offer a Neonatal Training for our fosters working with ages 0-6 weeks old. MHNNRescue is a big family of passionate animal people striving to support each other.

We Need Fosters For The Following:

(Both Kittens & Puppies)

1.) Neonatal (0-5wks)

2.) Weaning (5-8wks)

3.) Big Kids  (8-16wks)

4.) Critical Care / Disabilities (0-6 months)

5.) Pregnant/Nursing Mothers with Babies

(Not our normal intake but sometimes there's special circumstances)
